Welcome to the Adventure

Welcome to the Adventure

The useful preservation of  history is an adventure.  Collecting historical artifacts with the goal of transforming then  into family heirloom quality writing instruments.  It is truly an exhilarating experience as I transform  WW2/ Korean era M1 Garand rifles and carbines, Civil War era muzzleloader stock, a Winchester 1876 .50 Express, a German 98 Mauser, a 1903 Springfield A3,  Thompson 1928 machine gun, Enfield, and Vietnam era M16 plastic into works of usable art. When you put your fingers on objects that are historical, it seems to transport a person into the past.  Though the 'bark' of these retired  rifle stocks have long fallen silent, the memory  of the brave men who carried similar rifles remains. As a historical artist, it is my purpose to craft purposeful memorials to past wars and those who valiantly served.
